Armada
Showing the most prestigious gathering of sailing ships in Rouen, the
capital of Northern Normandy. The 4th edition of this world event will
take place from June 28 to July 6 this year. The embankments of the town
will again be transformed into magnificient scenery where sailors and
visitors will meet during a week to celebrate the huge gathering. Festivities
take place during the day and late into the night. |

home country
The set gathers a rich variety
of photographs on the ‘Pays de Caux’ region, an area depicted
with subtlety by Guy de Maupassant, the famous 19th century naturalist
writer – the area is situated in the Northern part of Normandy between
Dieppe, Etretat and Rouen. The photographs show present local activities
such as animal fairs, fisheries, farms, castles, hunting scenes… |
